ALWAYS CLIMBING
Site-Specific Staircase Installation

Three Journeys: Betsy Evans, Cary Reeder and Alexandra Sivov

September 8-October 27, 2018

The Silos on Sawyer
Houston, Texas

Always Climbing is a site-specific staircase installation created for the three-woman exhibition, Three Journeys. This  installation uses the imagery of trees, vines, and cast shadows from that natural world to create a colorful meandering meditation on loss, renewal, and perseverance. Always Climbing measures 54' x 52" and was created by the artist with hand-cut transparent adhesive vinyl on Clear-Lay plastic.
